Objective on the basis of need

To build an ecosystem for mobilizing resources to improve infrastructure and quality of education in government schools under the Apna Vidyalaya Scheme.
Executive summary of the proposed project (In 250 words)

IIT Mandi has adopted 12 government schools in its vicinity to enhance infrastructure and educational quality. This proposal aims to collaborate with corporate partners under CSR initiatives to address infrastructural deficiencies, improve learning outcomes, and reduce dropout rates. The project will create model schools that can be replicated across Himachal Pradesh.
Technology Readiness Level (If not a new project but an advancement of existing know how) TRL 7 - System prototype demonstration in the operational environment.
Outomes or Deliverables

- Improved classrooms, drinking water facilities, and sanitation infrastructure. 
- Development of science, mathematics, and computer labs. 
- Libraries, smart classrooms, and sports facilities. 
- Enhanced student engagement and reduced dropout rates.
